The Property of Royal Doulton Tableware Ltd Not Produced for Sale. Along with the accompanying Royal Doulton insignia also provided. This figurine is significantly different in pattern to that of the first variation DB181.Figurine that was ultimately distributed for sale by Royal Doulton, with the medical coat on this sample piece painted light blue, as opposed to the white coat version eventually distributed, and as shown in one photo presented within this listing for comparison purposes only. Piece was made in England and issued between 1998 and 2000. Designed by Martyn Alcock, with this sample figurine likely dating back prior to this time. It can indeed be a difficult thing to sometimes determine as to what is a real Royal Doulton produced Bunnykins prototype/sample piece, as compared to a fake piece. With no COA provided for many prototype/sample pieces, all I can do is to state that to the best of my knowledge and ability, this is indeed a genuine prototype/sample Royal Doulton Bunnykins figurine, as I have taken all measures to ensure the accuracy of my listing, which includes this piece having been scrutinised by highly respected Royal Doulton dealers in the U. This piece has also been examined through close visual inspection, feeling by way of touch for changes in texture and thickness of paint added, as well as under black lights for damage and/or alteration, of which none has been found. This piece is now legitimately offered for sale as being an extremely rare and very hard to find prototype/sample Bunnykins figurine. Thank you for looking at this figurine, with others also. Please contact me, should you have any questions or require further information or photographs concerning this Bunnykins piece.
